My art and other stuff

Mythbusters just ended and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t crying, which is kinda weird to say about a show where they basically just build stuff and then blow it up, or make things out of miles of duct tape (and then blow it up). But I used to watch it all the time when I was little, and watching the finale really brought me back. Especially that cement truck, man I thought that was the coolest thing ever when I was 7. and it still is to be honest.

Though I’m not pursuing a career in science, the show did help me grow to love learning and being curious about everything no matter what it was. So thank you Mythbusters, you’ve been a huge part of my life – I wish you a fond farewell.

also rip Buster. you beautiful bastard.

Filed under what they said mythbusters i...might be crying i am crying dammit

Thank you all so very much. Thank you to the Academy, thank you to all of you in this room. I have to congratulate the other incredible nominees this year. ‘The Revenant’ was the product of the tireless efforts of an unbelievable cast and crew. First off, to my brother in this endeavor, Mr. Tom Hardy. Tom, your talent on screen can only be surpassed by your friendship off screen… thank you for creating a transcendent cinematic experience. Thank you to everybody at Fox and New Regency…my entire team. I have to thank everyone from the very onset of my career… To my parents, none of this would be possible without you. And to my friends, I love you dearly, you know who you are.

And lastly I just want to say this: Making ‘The Revenant’ was about man’s relationship to the natural world. A world that we collectively felt in 2015 as the hottest year in recorded history. Our production needed to move to the southern tip of this planet just to be able to find snow. Climate change is real, it is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species, and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters, but who speak for all of humanity, for the indigenous people of the world, for the billions and billions of underprivileged people out there who would be most affected by this. For our children’s children, and for those people out there whose voices have been drowned out by the politics of greed. I thank you all for this amazing award tonight. Let us not take this planet for granted. I do not take tonight for granted. Thank you so very much. (x)

ibelieveinroxymorton-deactivate asked: When you get this you have to publicly say 5 positive things about yourself and send this message to your 10 favorite followers. (Non-negotiable because positivity is important)

Oh. Okay, uh…

- my eyes are pretty as hell. They’ve been grayish-blue for most of my life, but they’re getting darker and flecked with green.

- I have a nice singing voice?

- I like to think I’m a good friend.

- I tend to be a peacemaker (maybe not always a good thing? Whatever)

- I’m a pretty decent artist.

Dude I can’t even walk in a strait line

Whoa

One of my favourite things is when two or more people are in motion side-by-side and they use different maneuvers to achieve the same goal.

is this the training room from lara crofts mansion

Part of me really wants to try parkour. The rest of me remembers that I have metal sticks in my back and realizes that that would be a very, very bad idea.
